Winter Perfume Picks

Winter perfume

I’m sitting at my desk which has a small corner dedicated to my current favourite perfumes, so while looking at them yesterday I decided to do a post on my winter perfume picks. It’s a good time of year to change up your fragrance, and my that I mean you might just be compiling your Christmas list, or wish-list so to speak. If you want to add a perfume to your list, then I have a few suggestions based on my favourites.

YSL Mon Paris

This one I am wearing nearly every day. It has sweet notes which leaves your nostrils filled with the scent of Patchouli and White Musk. A must for fans of fruity scents.

Giorgio Armani Sì (eau de parfum)

Even the sound of the ingredients helps me understand why this is so lovely. Cassis nectar, modern chypre and light musky wood form a complex, yet sultry scent that likes to linger on your skin. I love this for nighttime!

Calvin Klein Euphoria Gold (eau de toilette)

There are so many notes it’s hard to remember them all, but here it goes. Top notes of lush green accord and Sicilian bergamot. Middle notes of champaca flower and twinkle orchid and dry notes of cream accord and sandalwood. A strong scent with a spicy after taste.

Liz Earle Botanical Essence No. 100

I had the pleasure of having dinner with Liz Earle recently to talk about her new products, but one constant in my life is this botanical scent. Damask rose, orange flower and Indian jasmine are just three of the soft notes that embody this fragrance. I also find you need very little, so the bottle last for a long time. (oh PS No. 9 is also very fabulous)

Tommy Hilfiger The Girl

Stepping back to my teens with this absolute classic. It’s having a resurgence in its popularity thanks to Tommy’s collaboration with Gigi Hadid (these TH x Gigi Boots were my fav) this year. Bursts of green pear, violet leaf and green fig leaves emerge before moving to jasmine petals and silky muguet. Cedarwood and cashmeran bring the fragrance to a finish. You just cannot beat an old reliable!
