I love coffee. We are a coffee society so I thought I would share my top coffee shops in Dublin whether you are a local or just passing through!
You have your choice of two dedicated 3fe coffee shops, on Macken Street or Sussex Terrace on the southside. This coffee is hands down my favourite, and if you can’t make it to the shops themselves, there are plenty of coffee bars using their beans now. I live near the Sussex Terrace coffee shop (which is also a coffee store for all coffee paraphernalia and coffee courses) where you can grab your filter or cappuccino and sit outside in their mini courtyard.
This one is just too near my office and my regular 11am coffee break stop. Also users of the 3fe yummy beans, Kaph is a Dublin hot spot and home to not only great coffee, but many a famous face in town. It’s a great meeting spot and you’ll often see my fellow bloggers and media crew having a pow pow in the window.

It started with drinking this coffee on the dockside in the IFSC back in my financial days and since then they have expanded to many coffee shops around the city. You can find me at the Pembroke Street shop on a Tuesday morning for my regular breakkie with my sister. I also have some of their beans for home use! Definitely have a pastry by the way, yum.

Also for devoted tea lovers, the bench outside the coffee shop on South William Street, is always full. They open at 8am and I often pop in there to start my day. They have a great selection of cakes and treats as well as lot’s of gluten free options. It’s always jammed packed and the free wifi helps! I generally go there accompanied by my laptop for a coffee when writing.

Pop in the side entrance of Arnotts on Liffey Street or Montague Lane and you’ll see Joe’s. Not only is the coffee A1, they have a lovely selection of food too. If I am there at lunch time I always have the Chorizo & Mozzarella focaccia which is so yum. They have an amazing selection of coffee blends too so try something new!
This one is a recent discovery for me and I have been frequenting on a Saturday to meet a pal who lives nearby. The coffee is delish and served on a wooden board with a spoon on a magnetic strip so it stands (see pic above for proof). It’s right opposite Dublin Institute of Technology so it’s a student favourite.
