The Westbury Hotel launched its newly re-designed Marble Bar last night, Thursday the 15th of November, creating a sophisticated and glamorous cocktail venue in the heart of Dublin. The Doyle Collection’s flagship hotel is one of Dublin’s most popular meeting places and the newly re-designed Marble Bar is now the perfect place to enjoy fine wines, champagne, and an inspired cocktail menu.
Combining an elegant ambience with a dash of cocktail inspired theatre, the Marble Bar’s team, led by resident Mixology Master, Julian Escobar, invited guests to experience an innovative array of cocktails served amidst the new stylish mid-century décor. Guests enjoyed The Westbury Hotel’s signature cocktail, the Pearltini, a mix of gin, midori liquer, parfait liquor and lime juice infused with jasmine pearl tea, garnished with blueberries. Champagne lovers indulged in champagne from the ancient house of Lanson.
The Marble Bar’s tempting cocktails were matched with a carefully selected light-bites menu, featuring light appetisers, such as crispy prawn wontons, mini slider burgers, handmade sushi, classic croque monsieur, and a delectable canapé selection.
RTE’s Claire Byrne hosted the evening and guests on the night included Lorraine Keane, Brendan Courtney, Maria Fusco, Rob Kearney and Brian O’Driscoll.
