The Kooples are here!

Just in time for the autumn winter 2011 season, Brown Thomas Dublin,Corkand BT2 Dundrum are delighted to announce the arrival of the coveted Parisian label The Kooples. From fashion to food, the French have an undeniable flair for style and effortless chic dressing. Founded by French brothers Alexandre, Lauren and Raphael Elicha, The Kooples abandoned traditional concepts of gender to create a modern and sexy take on androgynous style combining traditional tailoring with a modern, urban twist.

The Kooples autumn winter collection ransacks the 30s and 80s. The collection is defined by clean cut, slim fitting staples such as suits, jackets, coats and shirts, all carefully designed for men and women. Military elegance, revisited flight jackets, cardigans, dresses for iconic women, British styled “Crombie” coats, and the perfected three piece suit. Its recipe for chic is to tear into the rules, turning things inside out, sheepskins reversed with the soft wool exposed; neck of jacket flaunting its flannel lining; collar of a coat inlaid with velvet and leather trimmings.

The Kooples gathers its inspiration from the codes of rock, from music, but with its own signature traits. It doesn’t matter if it’s night or day, if you’re wearing The Kooples it’s just plain chic. The Kooples: Parisian chic seasoned with Anglomaniac style.

The Kooples autumn winter 2011 collection is now exclusively available at Brown Thomas Dublin, Corkand BT2 Dundrum.
