It’s totally silly season and if you are battling the shops then God speed. But, it’s kind of fun getting into town early, ticking off presents from what I am calling the “Request List” as my family have provided a list of gift requests making the whole thing a little bit easy to be honest. But now I am at the stocking filler stage, and I want to get some little trinkets for my mum and sister. So instead of an outfit post for my next Penneys OOTD, I’ve collated a little gift guide with some lovely affordable things you will love. (Click through the images below to see my picks!)
The Perfect Present…
Penneys have extended their gifting this year to include some perfect ideas like the light up vanity mirror which comes in two designs for less than €20. If you haven’t got a dressing table (like me!) you need somewhere to do your make up in good light, so this is the solution. I’ve tried and tested this and it’s great. Very similar to dressing room lighting and they look the part too! Gloves are always a welcome gift and this year swap out the traditional black leather for some taupe or cream for a change. I know my mum will love these. Speaking of mum, mine loves brooches and they are elegant accessories to add to your coat or to tie a faux fur stole. I don’t like wearing expensive brooches as I lost a very valuable one last year, so Penneys range look nice and bling but only cost €4. You can’t have Christmas without new PJs, and these satin stripe ones look really expensive! Penneys also have some snuggly dressing gowns and robes to layer over these. One really popular item this year thanks to Pinterest and Instagram has been customisable light boxes for home and office. Now these things tend to command a high price, but the Penneys version is only €14 and would be a lovely present for your gal pals. Or yourself….
If you want to add some hint of fashion, then this sequin bomber jacket has been a hit this year. You might have seen it in an earlier OOTD (you can read that here).
