I do love Paris in the Spring time as the song goes, but I also love it in the Winter as I discovered last week. I headed off to the city of love with two of my blogger pals to take in the sites but more importantly to shoot some Winter outfits to share with you. I cannot tell you how cold it was as the wind swept around the Louvre in this picture! But I made sure that most of my outfits included some kind of knit!
I’ve built up quite the collection of jumpers from Primark this season, all of which have become a staple part of my wardrobe. Polo necks are my favourite once they are not too tight. This one (which also comes in grey) has a loose fitted sleeve with a fitted neck creating nice shape, that’s also good for tucking in. I can see myself buying one or two more of these to add to my stock.
Against the grey sky, and exquisite buildings, black and grey pieces shoot almost like a camouflage, so finding details to make these stand out is essential. Hence, the studded detail on the jeans – aren’t these just fab? They are a skinny fit with an ankle grazing length making them a perfect match for the ankle boots I also picked up. They remind me of a Guiseppe Zanotti style – the dipped front and high heel give them a very designer inspired look for €17.
Primark are so good for accessories at the moment, and this beret (naturally!) and belt are two of my key pieces at the moment. I’m sure you’ve seen this belt repeatedly on my Instagram feed since I got it last month! The patent box bag is the perfect party bag and I received a few compliments on this at a restaurant in Montmartre!
If you like this outfit, each piece is available in store at Primark right now!
