So I’ve started to work with an amazing new photographer for my blog called Ana Rosso. Each week Ana will be bringing you a series of OOTD posts featuring lot’s of my favourite brands. So to get us started I wanted to keep it casual. While I was in London for fashion week, I paid a visit to The Sting (which you might have read about back in February from my London Diary). It’s a great source of a collection of brands and this outfit is one that I picked out.
You simply cannot be without a white shirt this season and I love this one as it’s a departure from the normal crisp white style. It’s a transparent fabric with an embroidered pattern that adds a level of interest. I like to colour block using the same colour family hence why I’ve opted for this bouclé bomber jacket that I have been living in! It works draped over my shoulders too with a more feminine aesthetic but it works, well I think so anyway.
The jeans are certainly an edgy statement, with white paint splashes, but they are a great fit and I have been living in them for work. I love grey jeans at this time of year. We don’t want to be too dark; we want to embrace the lighter shades but stay true to our love for the funkier side of fashion.
And then we have to talk about the accessories for this OOTD! The bag is from the current collection at Paul’s Boutique and I adore it. It’s a practical size to wear as a cross body; but it’s that pop of neon green that I love. And I’m sure you can see the tassle. This one has been a popular post on my instagram feed!
The sunglasses are from Parfois and I wanted to build up a collection of shades for the summer months that are a bit more fashion forward. The yellow frame is soft against my pale skin and the t-bar is a nice, perhaps designer-esque, feature. They were the best €17 on an accessory I have spent so far this season.
