Oh the things that have landed on my desk this week would make even the biggest beauty junkie cry with delight! Here’s this week’s beauty haul to get your week started!

Max Factor Colour Intensifying Balm

Max Factor intensifying balm

I love buildable colour especially on high pigment lip colours and those clever people at Max Factor have come up with something amazing in this balm. It starts at a subtle sheen but can be built up to a very intense but natural colour. The shades are beautiful, and my favourites are Voluptuous Pink and Posh Poppy. If you exfoliate your lips first, the colour works best. RRP €11.49.

IsaDora Twist up Matte lips

IsaDora matte lips

Some more lip stuff! This one is a gem! If you want the pigment fast, then this one is for you. A hydrating formula is key for this lip colour; it’s matte but very moisturising at the same time. And that’s because of the great things in it like papaya fruit extract and orchid flower. The new shades of this are what has just launched: Orange pop, Raving red and Super pink. I’ve been wearing Raving Red all weekend and I am in love with it. RRP €13.25

Pantene Pro-V

This hair care system is very very good for something so reasonable. My pick is the Deep Repair Masque which I have been using on the ends of my hair extensions to keep them nice and hydrated. Instantly, there is an effect with this. The consistency is light and easy to apply. Plus it doesn’t leave your hair greasy or heavy which I really dislike about masques I have tried in the past. This is also brilliant for damaged hair!

YSL La Sahariennes

La Sahariennes

Oh now we are talking amazing super dooper product here. The latest addition to the YSL range is this fantastic balm powder blur to give your skin a lovely skin kissed glow. But what I love it for, is contouring thanks to it’s soft texture and blend-ability. It basically goes on like a balm, but transforms to a powder on the skin. There are seven shades to choose from with this for all skin types. Take advice from Lloyd Simmonds, Creative Director of Make Up at YSL Beauté who says” I like to apply Les Sahariennes where the sun would hit the face naturally, and I avoid deepening the skin tone by more than one or two tones at most”. This launches on May 27th, and the RRP is €31.
