I have been spending the week in London having meetings, doing shoots and generally doing what I always do, but over here. Today was day one and it could not have been better. There is something exciting about working abroad. It inspires you, gives you new ideas and refreshes you somewhat before you return to the daily routine. No matter where you are, a change in scenery is good for the soul. First up today was the H&M Autumn Winter Press preview, and it did not disappoint. The autumnal palate is rich and luxurious, and the use of new textures like patent leather, heavy beading and velvet is something to be excited about.
Moving on, I headed to Farringdon to see my friends at Push PR and for a hair cut with the amazing Diego Miranda who gave my hair a jush and brought it to life using his skills and a set of lovely products from Julien Farel. I was delighted with the results and Diego and I had a lovely chat about the creative industry we work in and our favourite fashion destinations!
Then onto a shoot! I worked with the very amazing photographer Paul Black previously, and today we went on location to get some shots using natural light. I’m getting used to being in front of the camera once again, and today’s shoot was one of the most enjoyable ones! In my natural states (i.e. smiling) it was easy to relax into a shoot which suits my temperament. No pics just yet, but they’ll be here soon! I wore a full length white shirt from Penneys, Supertrash jeans and shoes.
