It’s boot time.

I blogged about tights yesterday and today it’s boots! Another wonderful thing about this season! Winter is always more sophisticated in my opinion and each year I seem to add profusely to boot collection, especially ankle ones. This season is all about the boot and if you want a flat, a wedge, a zip, some studs or simply something to keep those feet warm, the high street’s top shops have something for everyone. If you are looking for the perfect boot, look no further! I’ve attempted to narrow down your search and give some of my favourite styles! Don’t worry if you prefer knee high boots, I’ll be posting on those later in the week!

Clearly some of the best value booties around! Every trend gets a nod, but practicality features heavily. With prices hitting the €20 mark, you don’t need to feel guilty about buying more than one pair! I particularly like the stud trend floating about at the moment, especially on a black ankle boot for a bit of much needed edge. But if you want something more classic, try two tone boots which can be worn at the office too!

French Connection @ Kildare Village

I can’t write a post on boots without mentioning what you can pick up at an outlet! If you like some colour, these boots are for you. Yes, they are high, but with leggings and shorts, they will lengthen those pins and look ultra chic. RRP is €218, but they are €131 at Kildare Village.

The selection at Littlewoods is pretty amazing, especially if you are looking for a flat boot or something more casual. The price range is great in that, if you are just looking for a quick fix or you want to indulge, the choice suits all budgets. The riding style ankle boot, I predict, will be a real winner this season and already I have been taking note of its popularity both in Ireland and recently on my trips to Italy. As well as that, these will take you through to Spring! Prices range from €32 to €82 for the boots featured below.

A new shoe phenomenon…

One shoe retailer to watch out for this week is which launches tomorrow! This is a new and interesting way to shop, through a subscription service. At £35 a month, the service enables members to choose one item out of their personalised selection of shoes and handbags. Of course, members can purchase as many additional items as they wish at the same VIP price. If nothing catches their fancy, members are free to skip the month and save their shopping pennies for another day. For those who don’t want to sign up to a full membership, there is the option to pay as you go, buying shoes and handbags at regular retail price. Might just be worth a little look shoe lovers!
