Have you bought your winter coat yet? No? Oh good because I have found the perfect one. In fact, I have found the perfect red coat. And guess what? It’s from Penneys and it’s under €40. Now, don’t all rush at once, let me tell you about it. Firstly, it’s not structured; it has an elegant sloping shoulder that makes it ideal for layering knitwear. Secondly, it’s midi so it works with skirts and jeans alike and it’s also a decent length if you want to wear with heels. Thirdly, it is so soft and comfortable you’ll think you’re wearing the Max Mara coat that made this a thing.
You might have read in my previous blog post regarding red (you can read that here) that I found it hard to find the right shade. Well when I said this is the perfect red coat, I also refer to the colour. It’s bold but not overpowering, and it has a blue tone which is a must with my blonde hair. I kept this look practical with some jeans and a cream sweater. I’m also having an affair with berets right now and Penneys make this in several colours but black is always a reliable choice.
Although you can’t see it too clearly in these images, I am wearing a pair of sparkly ankle boots which are so Saint Laurent. These are so versatile and I’ve been wearing these with mini skirts and black tights, as well as midi dresses for winter.
