Winter Coats

Hey it’s freezing out there today, right? Well no better time to look at Winter Coats then. I do love this crisp and dry weather, without the rain thank you. It’s so much easier to dress for this. We can stay cosy and chic all at once, and a great coat is all you need to do that really. There are too many to choose from, but I’ve had a look online this morning to pick out some of my favourite winter coats from the season so far. 

Faux fur is a huge trend this year, as it is every winter, and this style (starting from the left by the way) is great as it’s long, a neutral colour and not too bulky. Missguided have a great range that are very affordable too. The shearling style waterfall jacket has been hugely popular this year; it’s more for those warmer days, but with a nice knit layered under it, you’ll still be warm. So, try this soft pink frilled jumper from Miss Selfridge. Tip to note, these jumpers can be quite fitted, so I always go a size upwards. It’s also handy just in case you get a little shrinkage from the washing machine. But if you want winter coats that are more of a, well, coat, then a longer style in black will never fail. It’s a classic that has nothing to do with trends, it has a longer lifespan. These can be worn anyway you see fit, but I do like the more relaxed styling of the look above.
