Hello from Jerez! Home of Sherry and my first learning experience of fortified wine. I can now safely say I know the difference between Fino, Olorosso and Palo Cortado but I’m far from being an expert. Jerez is delightful and having visited some of the most famous bodegas in the world such as Fernando di Castilla and Valdespino I feel me and sherry are slightly more acquainted!
The weather here is hot to say the least and so dressing has been somewhat of an issue but the evenings are cooler and so I’ve been opting for tops and jeans, my favourite! This top is also fro Vila (see yesterday’s post too!) with my favourite Acne jeans and shoes from New Look. The key for dressing for evenings here is comfort with style, so flat shoes are a must (especially for my flamenco lesson later!) and lightweight fabrics which keep you cool.
These pics are taken on the balcony of our fabulous hotel Palacio Garvey right in the centre of Jerez. It’s a boutique hotel which could not be handier for location to restaurants and the centre of town! More to come tomorrow!
