H&M Studio Autumn Winter 2015

It’s a collection I rave about every season and this one is no different. H&M Studio Autumn Winter 2015 is one you need to get your hands on for it’s fashion forward style, yet practicality. It shows at Paris Fashion Week each year with an abundance of supermodels most of whom I follow on twitter. So marry up those girls with awesome fashion and you have a recipe for greatness. This season has me more interested though. In the beautiful surroundings of a plush house in Dublin 6, we were treated to a preview of the Studio collection set to hit the shop floor at H&M College Green on September 10th. Colour is there, with a focus on orange, emerald green and this magnetic shade of burgundy that is applied to patent leather to make it shine. I like that this collection is a departure from the safety net of commercial high street fashion. The textures are more adventurous with patent leather, as I said, being a key one. Also take note of the knits. I have a heavy H&M knit from last year with beading that I absolutely adore, so this year their updated version is no different. One piece I love is the high neck satin mini dress that I envisage being added to my wardrobe in advance of fashion week. So I advise joining the line early. Take a look at some of my favourite pieces below. Screen Shot 2015-09-06 at 18.28.22
