From Milan to Camogli

Camogli e

Well there is something up with the weather in Europe. Blizzards in London and intense showers of rain in Milan. So the honeymoon may have had a wet start with the rain, but wandering around Milan’s finest boutiques, sipping Machiato’s at the finest coffee houses, and eating some wholesome, good food. Staying at Maison Moschino which is a must for any fashion lover, with it’s over the top interior and mirrored walls, is a real treat. It’s actually not that expensive either, as we stayed mid-week and off season. Shopping was foremost on my mind and with department stores like La Rinacentre and Excelsior, as well and the best of the high street and high end, this is heaven. I picked up some great pieces in Zara and little trinkets of jewellery.

And now it’s down South to Liguria, to Camogli. Situated by the Mediterranean, with Portofino only 20 minutes away and some spectacular views. I’m just a little bit excited for this haven by the sea. More tomorrow from Camogli!
