Find: Some Spring suggestions

Hello Spring Summer!

London Fashion Week maybe over, as I analyse next season, but sticking to something a lot more current, I wanted to give you some suggestions on what to look for as the weather gets milder (here’s hoping). I have done all the research for you and found the best of Spring Summer fashion!

First up it’s boohoo.com, where I have been doing a little blogging lately. Florals are prevalent on boohoo and there is plenty to choose from. If you are a little scared of prints, it’s always best to experiment first through accessories or a piece that is not 100% flowered! I like to take one statement print piece and match up with block colours. This makes the look easy to wear but very rainbow-like!

Coast have also got printed this season, and the dress is definitely a key piece. The Jilmena dress keeps the print to the side with white panelled down the middle which will give the “cinched in” effect without needing a belt. Stella McCartney pioneered the illusion dress look this season; the Coast take is a nice alternative and a super use of the print. Just to mention, with all this colour, monochrome has not departed just yet and is always a good way to go if you are looking for an elegant look for an occasion. Don’t be afraid to make this look casual either and pop on a leather jacket too!

Now we gave Stella a quick mention above, and she is definitely a lady of the moment. After a spectacular return to London having based her seasonal show at Paris since the beginning. Stella’s guest including Rihanna and Kate Moss, has been on the twitter machine all week so just to tease you a little, Stella’s current season is definitely worth a peak. One key trend that Stella just rocks is lace. This fabulously feminine fabric, is easy to wear, is complimentary and adds something interesting to block colours. Spring Summer essentials like shorts and short-sleeved tops are revolutionised with lace and quilting too; texture is never a bad thing! Stella McCartney is available at the outnet.com

And just to finish, we cannot forget our feets! I think a sensible sandal is a must have for this season, for a stroll on the prom while on hols, or popping into town! Marks and Spencer have this trend down, and I quite like the candy colours on offer right now! So there you go, get planning!
