I love casual dressing and at this time of year, I think it’s easy to do. Summer is always hard for me in terms of clothes; I much prefer to be in a great top, jeans and boots. It’s like my signature look. So when I popped to Penneys this week, I found perfect examples of how to get this look for less. Casual Capsule Wardrobe

A white shirt is a capsule wardrobe favourite; this one has a difference, in that the bell sleeve and lace detail bring it up to date for the new season. I’m not a fan of collared shirts, so this style is a little more me. I love the rushing along the bust too, which is flattering for my 32DDs I tell you! I’m usually limited with shirts as the buttons never close!

The jeans are a Penneys hero product and you’ll get to see these on Xposé soon too! They are almost black, and the cut is a cropped flare making them ideal for ankle boots. You may have seen my denim post earlier this week, and there are a few new denim trends for Autumn Winter 2017, and the cropped flare is one. They have plenty of stretch so they will mould nicely to your curves. And at €17 they are a great way to try the trend affordably.

The belt is a winner for me; I always wear a belt to cinch me in and create definition around me waist. And you can see the designer reference right? But this one only costs €5! This look is totally me, and I think for meetings it will be my staple look for Autumn Winter.

Casual Capsule Wardrobe

I love a casual look, and I cannot emphasise how much wear you will get from these casual capsule wardrobe pieces. I wore this outfit all day, for work, and then to Urchin, St. Stephen’s Green with my blogger pal and all round fabulous lady, Louise Cooney (make  sure you check out her blog here!) and she was the outfit pic expert who snapped me for this blog post!

All items are available in Penneys now.

Ps The boots are my own!
