Brows like Cara.

The above line is exactly what I asked Alana from The Lash Lounge, Dundrum to do to my brows last Friday. I want to look like Cara Delevingne. Now there’s not much hope of that happening, but if I can replicate anything it’s her stellar eyebrows. They even have their own twitter account (as does Cara’s thigh gap which is my personal favourite).

Alana, an experienced brow and lash technician, as well as HD Brows trainer, recently opened the Lash Lounge to cater for a huge demand in brow and lash treatments, from extensions to tints. I have tried lash extensions and HD Brows before (read my previous post here) but it’s been a while, so when Alana asked me to pop along to her new treatment rooms for some pampering, I couldn’t refuse.

I have very fair hair on my brows so I tend to either draw them on with pencil, or wax kits. HD eliminates the need for any of this; with the exception of colouring some small or stray blonde hairs which the tint has not picked up.

Accompanying the HD treatment is a brow kit, which comes with four shades of brow “powder” and a small angled brush to help you fill in any of the stray hairs, or to add some extra colour if you want to darken your brows as you change your make up look. You can buy the kit at the Lash Lounge so you have the option after your treatment.

Alana’s salon is cute and cosy, which is complimented by her professional and chatty persona which is a recipe for success at any salon.

PS – everyone complimented by cool brows at LFW. Cara will be soooooo jealous.
