Autumn Winter Style: A look at TK Maxx

TK Maxx Autumn Winter 2013

I was delighted to style the TK Maxx photocall last week, and so a little chat on Xposé. Autumn Winter style does not get any better than this really, where you combine great trends with affordability. Styling this was a challenge, but one I very much enjoyed, ensuring that I create looks that embody each new season trend, and stay true to the TK Maxx philosophy on shopping for style! One of my favourite trends is punk, and above, I found this little steal of a tartan dress (very McQueen isn’t it!) styled with a faux leather jacket, a must have in every wardrobe for all seasons. And you’ll note Leo rocking the mod trend for men, which embodies rich colours like maroon, and plays up to the mod era with all it’s attitude.

The Lady!

TK Maxx is a great store for occasion wear, and with “The Lady” above, I had to use this showstopper of a dress! With it’s regal style, and in navy with draped neckline, this is the epitome of elegance and a key piece for any occasion come party season.

Winter pastels!

Now we should note that Autumn Winter style does not have to be about dark colours, pastel shades were a huge catwalk trend, and the lovely combination of pinks and turquoise above is one of my favourite trends from TK Maxx. Mix and match these pieces into your existing wardrobe to inject these soft feminine colours.

Layer up!

And lastly, no winter is without a bit of layering! I, along with everyone on the shoot, fell for this oversize wool wrap with faux fur collar, as an addition to any casual outfit. Over jeans, pencil skirts, you name it this one will keep you cosy!!!

Don’t forget that TK Maxx have 16 stores across Ireland so check out all these trends and more!
