Autumn Winter 2016 makeup trends

makeup trends

You may not think makeup has trends, but it does. Simply open up any beauty section of a glossy magazine and there you are. The Autumn Winter 2016 make up trends will be rather exciting with new colours, combinations and products to choose from with some nice launches happening too. So I’ve summarised some of the makeup trends that I am really loving to give you some inspiration to update your make up bag this year.

Retro Vibes – YSL Fall 2016 Scandal Collection

This limited edition collection brings a colour clash in its eye palette, matte finish blush, retro nail lacquers and intense matte lipsticks. I completely adore the Couture Palette Collector with decadent vintage green and burgundy as the feature shades, as well a bright nude for balance. This is super retro with a 1970s vibe, and with some of the pieces I have added to my wardrobe for the new season, this is the perfect make up pairing.

Beautiful brows – Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows

You have to load up on your brows this Winter, and the Lady Tilbury has brought out a new formula for her already popular range. The micro fine precision brush is a power tool, layering on the formula evenly to every lash. Charlotte says herself that brows are the pillar of the face and I never feel like my make up is finished if I don’t have a strong brow.

Good skin – Image Skincare

Since I started using Image Skincare I have so much confidence in the appearance of it. It glows and that makes for great ways to do the dare to bare look that will transition into Winter thanks to catwalk looks like that seen at Chloe. Try Clear Cell facial wash from the range to give your skin a good clean and unblock any nasty pores. Then give it a dose of Ageless serum which contains the magic formula of Retinol to smoothen. Winning.
