If we had the 1970s for Spring Summer, then we are having it for Autumn Winter, well so say Arnotts. Last month I was treated to a showcase of the new season at one of Dublin’s most iconic department stores. A long time leading the pack for trends, new labels and an overwhelming support for Irish talent, Arnotts stay true to their belief system for another season. Everything was beautifully Autumnal, with the colour palette embodying the richness of cinnamon (it’s a colour too we say), soft brown and the classic taupe and camel to bring everything together. Another key colour is burgundy (which I will be talking about a lot over at Social & Personal next month) and complement by those decadent textures that we love about the colder months such as leather and textures such as brocade. Arnotts always champion outerwear and coats for Autumn Winter 2015 will become a little more oversized, as well as seeing the return of the cape. You can also watch out for new labels to the shop floor such as Natalie B Colemen, Caroline Matthews and Selected Femme. Check out just some of the looks from the show!
