Packing to go home for Christmas causes several dilemmas. Firstly, I can’t bring everything with me. Secondly, I can’t bring all my shoes with me. So the solution, despite sounding ridiculous, is to make a list of outfits. Kind of like how I pack when I go on holidays, but in this case I am only going an hour down the motorway.
I love Christmas Eve and spending it with my family in a new house is very exciting. We always go out for lunch to our favourite pub so I took the opportunity to wear my new (and current favourite) Reiss coat. I love this coat; it’s warm thanks to it’s wool content, and the fact that it’s navy makes it easy to wear with my pale skin.
I wore this some pieces I found in Penneys (Primark to my readers outside of Ireland). This pewter coloured jumper is so festive, and works nicely with my dark palette. The jumper is very soft to wear, contrary to what it might look like. It’s not scratchy (as one of my instagram followers had asked last week). And to add some glamour, I adore this faux fur stripe stole. It was only €15, total bargain huh?
Add all of the above to some skinny jeans and these new boots from Oasis (which were a gift from my lovely friend Ashley James, you should check out her blog here too).
